Many of the newer paths wind along the East side of the Truckee Meadows – where new housing developments are all including bike paths. Reno is growing for a very good reason – it’s really nice here. 300+ days of sunshine per year, low humidity, 80+ miles of bike paths, and a Pedego Electric Bike are the formula for “Hello, fun….”.Pedego Reno is located at 3316 S. McCarran Blvd., in the Mira Loma Center – and right on the McCarran Bike Path. 2.2 miles north is the Tahoe-Pyramid Bikeway (TPB), our main East-West bike path – which goes to and through Downtown Reno. Go East on the TPB to Sparks Blvd./Veterans Parkway to connect to our North-South routes. From Golden Eagle Regional Park down to Geiger Grade, the views are spectacular, and it’s 90% bike path, with a couple of stretches of ‘Share the Road’ or sidewalks to ride. Hidden Valley Regional Park is right around the corner and offers hilly terrain to stretch your legs on as you cruise through a nice 25 mph residential area to get to the park. Check out the views of Reno and the Sierra Nevada, and maybe take your Pickleball gear to enjoy the courts. hero image">
