I bought a used/rental from Pedego and I love it. It’s a great casual rider but gets you where you need to go. I’ve put on over 2500 miles just tooling around town.
It’s a great sense of freedom to go anywhere you want to go without a car- work, shopping, school or just exploring your town. I’d add a front & back flasher and a bike bag that attaches to your handlebar. Please wear your helmet and safety vest. Enjoy the ride!

I bought my bike in 2017 and have over 6500 miles on it and still going strong. I'm in my 80's and it was what I needed for exercise. I have Arthritis and heart disease so I needed somethin that would help this old body. I don't really need one but I'm looking to buy another one. Great bike and quality. I showed it to a friend and he went and bought two bikes for him and his wife they love them. I know several people who bought other bikes because they were cheaper but they didn't last. I'm still on the original battery and motor and going strong. They only maintenance I have is brakes and tires.

We bought two city commuters 8 years ago on Coronado Island in California. To date we’ve risen all over San Francisco, Manhattan, Key West, Austin, LA, Santa Barbara, Paso Robles, Portland (Maine and Oregon), Colorado Springs, Las Vegas, Monterey Peninsula, Door County Wi,, Death Valley, Avenue of the Giants, Yosemite, Sequoia NP, Crater Lake, the Pacific Coast Hwy, San Diego, Phoenix, St Augustine Beach, Green Bay, and on and on and on. Barbara has had no problems other than general maintenance upgrades. The only problem I’ve had was my fault when after a twenty mile beach ride in Saint Augustine I decided to wash any sea salt off our bike at a local car wash. The high pressure wand force water into the electronic panel. The next day while ride around Jekyll Island my bike died. Three days later I brought it into a Pedego store and was pleasantly surprised when the owner took a circuit board out of a new City Commuter and put it into mine. An hour later I was back on my seat enjoying another fun ride.
We love our bikes and the Pedego family. We always say the same thing about our Ebike purchase, our bikes are the best things we have ever bought.

Almost 2000 miles. I have 48v battery 500 watt motor ride from Mexico to my house in Arizona 25 miles .. love it wondering now if I can up grade the motor and battery to the new one?? Well worth the investment.

After growing tired of the process of just getting onto my Giant road bike, I threw down on a Commuter on Tuesday and I could not be happier! During my maiden 23-mile joyride around Phoenix, Tempe and Scottsdale, I suddenly realized that it’s been a long time since I’ve felt like a kid, and for that alone it’s the best money I’ve ever spent! A big, fat shout-out to Wes at Pedego Scottsdale for being a straight-shooter and for answering about a thousand questions. He set me up with sweet accessories, schooled me on getting started and he even registered the bike for me. As for the bike, what can I say – it’s awesome! I’m very proud to be a Pedego owner!

My friend and I rented the boomerang e-bikes in Carmel, IN and had the best time. When I came home, I went straight to Pedego Wauconda. After thinking, researching, I came back the next Friday and got my Greige City Commuter..I named her Carmel. We have been riding all over the place. I look forward to going up hills and speed down hills. So much fun..
So yes, I recommend Pedego Wauconda and the City Commuter!!

I've had the City Commuter mid drive step through for about 1 year. 2500 miles later, it works FLAWLESSLY! It's a great bike and the people at old Town scottsdale store are amazing. I'd recommend Pedego without reservation!

My Pedego’s name is Hope and she is helping me rebuild my life by rebuilding my body. I bought Hope right before my gastric sleeve surgery and she supports me with PAS and her throttle to build muscles in my legs and hips making me feel terrific and giving me energy to be more active. My favorite characteristic of Hope is her battery life, her power, and her ease of use. She is consistent, easy to learn, and she builds my confidence everyday. Yesterday I stopped into my Pedego Dealer in Glendale AZ and Steve hooked Hope and I up with a bike rack so Hope and I can go exploring! The bike is fabulous and my dealer is an Angel.

Bought the City Commuter September 2021 for my Wife. She absolutely loves the bike and the ease of use. The bike is extremely reliable and allows her to ride on many routes which otherwise she couldn't with a standard bike. We have also had excellent experience during the purchase at the Lewes Delaware location.

I bought my Pedego City Commuter (metal blue) bike after researching electric bikes on the internet. When I went to the store, I was greeted by the owner (Howard Ickes) of the Henderson Nevada store. He explained EVERYTHING about the bike to me. I took a couple of them out for test rides before choosing the City commuter. Theresa organized the paper work and delivery setup for me. About a week later, the bike was delivered to my front door step by Anthony. Excellent customer experience from Howard, Theresa and Anthony, from the Pedego Henderson team, all the way through.

I bought my City Commuter as a birthday present for myself. At 71 It is everything I thought it would be and more. I don't spend less than an hour on it at a time and sometimes two. I now get the exercise I wasn't getting because of Arthritis in my ankles. I upgraded to the large battery and I can go from here to the moon. After one month I have almost 400 mi. on it. I only wish I lived in a state that I could ride all year long.

WE RENTED THESE BIKES TWO TIMES ON OUR LAST VISIT TO MYRTLE BEACH WE FELL IN LOVE WITH THEM. AARON AND HIS STAFF SPENT CONSIDERABLE TIME WITH US EXPLAINING ALL THE FEATURES AND OPTIONS ON THE BIKES. WE WENT BACK HOME TO NEW YORK AND DECIDED TO PURCHASE THEM. ALTHOUGH WE HAVE OPTIONS CLOSER TO US, WE DECIDED TO CONTACT AARON BECAUSE HE WAS SO HELPFUL. ONE WEEK AFTER ORDERING THEM, THEY WERE DELIVERED. DELIVERY WAS PROFESSIONAL AND QUICK. ASSEMBLY WAS EASY AND WE ARE NOW ENJOYING THEM! My City Commuter gives me confidence and range. It's the highest quality E-Bike I've seen. The Pedego business model gives me service with a smile, complete with accessories! There are hundreds of "mail order" bikes available, but every one is a risk! I suggest walking through a Pedego store before you buy.

I absolutely love everything about this bike. My maiden voyage on this bike was on 5.16.21 and it was simply outstanding. Head winds are no longer annoying and this bike devours hills! I am a very experienced rider of non electric bikes for years. This is my first experience. It was great!

My partner and I both have Pedego City Commuter bikes. They both have in excess of 1000 miles on them, and are approximately one year old. The bikes are not only a total blast to ride, but Pedego stands by their product better than any company I have ever dealt with. They replaced my entire shift mechanism for free, and upgraded it to a newer shift system. When our batteries started losing capacity they sold us greatly discounted batteries even though our bikes were no longer under warranty. All of their advice, assistance, and replacements are provided with a genuine smile and a true willingness to help. I will be true to Pedego in the future due to this exemplary service. My City Commuter exceeded my expectations! This bike is comfortable and so much fun to ride! I am able to go for hours enjoying all the bike trails. If you are reading this review and are wondering if this bike is for you then please read my review. I am 51 and love the outdoors but riding a manual bike is limited for me because after about an hour of riding I am exhausted. I wanted to be able to explore more of the outdoors with wearing myself out. Me and my husband decided to invest in some ebikes. After a month of visiting bike shops and endless youtube videos of reviews we found Pedego bikes. These bikes are off the charts! Best money we ever spent! We can bike for hours comfortably and enjoy so much more of the outdoor life. The brakes, lights and suspension are impressive. The accessories you can buy for your bike are endless. But the best part of Pedego is their customer service...I cannot brag enough about Amanda Parsons and Jason Miller (store owners). They are super helpful and made sure we picked the right bikes for me and my family.

With the 52 Volt, 17.5 Amp 749Watt the bike is pretty powerful and climbs any hill pretty easily and has better than decent range. If you are riding on a flat nice road it is perfect but bumps and ditches do affect the ride quite a bit. I love my bike and to me it is a great combination of features but just wish it was less bumpy. I have considered adding the shocks but having the green color with the red wheels don't want to put a non matching shocks. Shocks on a $4K bike should match…

After sharing the City Commuter with my son for 2 months, we just purchased our second so my wife and i can ride on the weekends. We use them to tour around our suburban/rural area on the weekends. So much fun.

Last May I purchased a City Commuter as an alternate to driving to work. This bike has been used almost daily since that time without a hitch. Unfortunately in December it developed a crack in the frame by the battery support. After answering a few questions and taking a few pictures I received a completely new bike minus the battery and seat. This company definitely over delivers! I was expecting nothing back except a new frame. Big props to our local rep at Scooter Pro and the customer service team at Pedego!
