Job Description:
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Sales Associate to join our team at our Pedego Electric Bike Shop in Frederick, MD. The Sales Associate will be responsible for promoting and selling Pedego electric bikes and accessories to customers, as well as providing excellent customer service, overseeing rental and tour experiences, and updating shop inventory.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Enthusiastically greet customers and assist them in selecting Pedego electric bikes and accessories that meet their needs and preferences
  • Answer customer questions about Pedego electric bike features and capabilities, as well as financing and delivery options
  • Demonstrate Pedego electric bikes to customers and take them on test rides, if necessary
  • Process sales transactions and handle customer payments
  • Oversee the rental and tour experience, including coordinating with customers, preparing bikes and equipment, and leading tours as needed
  • Maintain accurate records of sales, rentals, and customer information
  • Update shop inventory and restock as needed
  • Participate in ongoing training to stay up-to-date on new products and industry developments
  • Contribute to a positive and professional team environment

 

Qualifications:

  • 1 year of sales experience, preferably in the bike or outdoor recreational industry
  • Excellent verbal, written & electronic communication and customer service skills
  • Enthusiasm for riding electric bikes and a desire to promote sustainable transportation
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with point-of-sale systems
