Pedego’s 5-Year Warranty: Parts, Batteries, Theft Protection, and Lifetime Frame Warranty

Pedego is committed to providing you with the best electric bike experience, and our warranty reflects that. We provide a 5-year warranty that covers original Pedego parts and components and a 5-year prorated warranty on Pedego batteries. Additionally, we offer a 5-year theft warranty when you use a “Qualifying Lock” and a lifetime frame warranty.

Please note that this warranty is offered only to the original retail purchaser and is not transferable. To take advantage of this warranty, you must:

• Provide proof of purchase
• Have your bike registered – Your local Pedego dealer will take care of registering your bike at the time of purchase
• Have a 100-mile tune-up
• Annual service by an authorized Pedego dealer.

The Importance of Quality Components: Our 5-Year Warranty for Pedego Parts and Components

We understand that parts and components are critical to your electric bike’s performance, which is why our 5-year limited warranty covers original Pedego parts and components. However, please note that this warranty does not cover ordinary wear and tear that is not the result of defects in workmanship or materials. An authorized Pedego dealer can assess wear and tear. The warranty also does not cover scratches, dents, and cosmetic damage not caused by Pedego.

Pedego Batteries: 5-Year Pro-Rated Warranty and Replacement Policy

Our Pedego batteries come with a 5-year prorated warranty. Within the first three years of service, a defective battery will be repaired or replaced at no cost to the customer. After the first three years of service, a prorated credit, based on months of service, will be applied towards the purchase of a new battery. Batteries purchased at a prorated cost will have a new 5-year warranty based on the pro-rated purchase date.
