Locally-Owned Electric Bike Shop Opens Doors to Community; Inspires Connection And Celebrates Outdoor Activity
Winnetka, Ill.—May 27, 2021—Pedego Electric Bikes, a leading electric bike brand, is now open in Winnetka and celebrating the occasion with a community-focused grand opening event on Monday, June 21, from 12-3 p.m.
Hosted by local owner Scott Radliff, the event will include a ribbon-cutting ceremony, catered refreshments and festivities for guests to enjoy. Pedego Director of Business Development Cynthia Newcomb and Pedego Director of Customer Service Wendy Denny will also be in attendance to connect with local Pedego enthusiasts.
“I’m thrilled to introduce the Winnetka community to Pedego Electric Bikes,” said Radliff. “Located a few miles from downtown Chicago, The Chicago North Shore is one of the most bike-friendly areas in all of Illinois, making it the perfect place to explore on a Pedego. With this store opening, I hope to allow folks of all ages and abilities to connect with a community that shares a love for the outdoors and riding bikes.”
Before opening Pedego Winnetka, Radliff worked as a chief information officer in the technology industry and served in the United States Army. “From my experience as a consultant in the technology industry, I understand the importance of both effective business operations and a positive customer experience,” said Radliff. “Pedego excels in these areas,, and I am excited to take part in expanding the brand.”
Don DiCostanzo founded Pedego Electric Bikes in 2008 out of a desire to combine quality and style in the electric bikes category. Pedego Winnetka joins the over 180 locally-owned Pedego stores throughout the U.S. and Canada.
