How is Pedego making this right?

Pedego is offering you a free repair of your Fat Tire Trike. We have reengineered and strengthened the section of the frame in question. Once you register, we will ship a repair part to a local Pedego dealer that you select using the registration form.

We will ship the part to the dealer. The Pedego dealer will repair the Fat Tire Trike free of charge. There are no charges or fees associated with this recall.

You will be contacted when your part is received at the Pedego store for installation.

Make sure that other members of your household also know about the recall and immediately stop using it. Secure your Fat Tire Trike so that it cannot be ridden until it is repaired.

We strongly encourage you to participate and contact us to obtain a free repair.

Why is Pedego voluntarily recalling the Fat Tire Trike | Model BK530001BK?

This Fat Tire Trike is being recalled voluntarily by Pedego in cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission.

We have received some reports of the lower section of the trike frame showing cracks and/or breaking, which can cause the tubes to separate, posing fall and laceration hazards.

Pedego is moving swiftly and acting out of an abundance of caution to protect our customers and voluntarily take this recall action.

What Pedego models are affected by this recall?

Only the Fat Tire Trike | Model BK530001BK is affected.

No other Pedego models are affected.

What should I do to take part in the recall?

First, immediately stop using the recalled Fat Tire Trike. Make sure that other members of your household also know about the recall and immediately stop using it.
