Meet Pedego’s Newest Rides: Latch 2, Ridge Rider 2, and Element 2

Meet Pedego’s Newest Rides: Latch 2, Ridge Rider 2, and Element 2

A great e-bike should fit more than your measurements. It should fit where you go, what you carry, and how you want every ride to feel. This August, three new Pedego models give riders even more ways to find that perfect fit.

Latch 2, Ridge Rider 2, and Element 2 share a family resemblance: approachable step-through designs, confident electric assist, practical carrying capacity, integrated lighting, and the support of a local Pedego dealer. But each one has its own personality—and its own idea of what a great day on two wheels can look like.

Latch 2: Adventure that fits anywhere

For riders who want a bike that can travel as easily as they do, Latch 2 turns folding convenience into a full ride experience. Its mid-sized step-through frame folds to reduce its footprint for RV travel, apartment storage, commuting, or life on the go. Open it up, and it is designed to feel stable, comfortable, and ready for everyday adventures.

Latch 2 pairs a 750W motor with up to 90Nm of torque, a removable 835Wh battery, front suspension with 80mm of travel, hydraulic disc brakes, and an integrated rear rack rated for up to 100 pounds. Its total payload capacity is up to 400 pounds, giving riders room for themselves, their gear, and approved accessories. Range is listed at up to 84 miles under stated test conditions. Choose from Blue Fusion, Cloud Dancer, and Hematite.

The result is a folding e-bike that refuses to feel like a compromise. It is a strong match for RV travelers, beach-town explorers, apartment dwellers, and anyone who wants storage flexibility without giving up comfort and capability.

Ridge Rider 2: Everyday comfort meets all-terrain confidence

Some rides start on neighborhood pavement and end on a gravel road you did not plan to explore. Ridge Rider 2 is built for exactly that kind of day.

Its adventure-hybrid design combines an upright riding position with 27.5" x 2.4" tires and front suspension with 80mm of travel. That combination helps create a smooth, planted feel across streets, campground roads, gravel, and appropriate light trails. A 750W motor delivers up to 90Nm of torque, while Tektro hydraulic disc brakes—with a larger 203mm front rotor—support confident, predictable control.

Ridge Rider 2 offers a total payload capacity of up to 330 pounds, a MIK HD rear rack rated for up to 100 pounds, and range listed at up to 90 miles under stated test conditions. The rack is mounted to the frame rather than integrated into it. Integrated running lights, an active brake light, and turn signals add useful visibility for changing conditions. Color choices include Cloud Cover, Quiet Violet, and Veiled Vista.

Choose Ridge Rider 2 when your idea of an everyday ride includes the freedom to take the interesting way home.

Element 2: Big Fun. Any Terrain.

Element 2 proves that adventure does not have to be oversized. Its 20" x 4.0" fat tires are a defining feature, bringing together a low step-through frame, playful handling, and a stable feel that inspires confidence on neighborhood streets, campground roads, sandy paths, and other appropriate mixed surfaces.

The current Element 2 platform includes a 750W motor with up to 90Nm of torque, a removable 835Wh battery, front suspension with 75mm of travel, hydraulic disc brakes with a 203mm front rotor, and a 3.5-inch color display. Its MIK HD rear rack is rated for up to 100 pounds and is mounted to the frame rather than integrated into it, while the total payload capacity is up to 440 pounds. Range is listed at up to 81 miles under stated test conditions.

Element 2 is available in Warm Sand, Marsala, and Dark Shadow. More important, it brings a lively, easy-to-approach personality to everyday riding. Choose it when you want compact proportions, fat-tire confidence, and a bike that makes small plans feel bigger.

Which new Pedego sounds like you?

  • Choose Latch 2 if folding, transport, RV use, or compact storage is high on your list.

  • Choose Ridge Rider 2 if you want relaxed comfort across pavement, gravel, campground roads, and appropriate light trails.

  • Choose Element 2 if you prefer a compact footprint, a low step-through frame, fat-tire stability, and nimble fun.

Specifications can tell you a lot, but they cannot replace the feeling of a bike that fits. Rider height, proportions, flexibility, cargo needs, and preferred handling all matter. A local Pedego dealer can help adjust the fit, explain features, and let you experience the differences on a test ride.

More confidence beyond the bike

All three models operate as Class 1 and Class 2 e-bikes and are Class 3 ready. Class 3 upgrades are offered only at participating Pedego locations, for eligible models and configurations, and only where permitted. Local rules can also vary by road, trail, path, and park, so riders should confirm availability and access before upgrading or riding.

Throughout August, we will look beneath the surface of the new lineup—from the all-new PedalSense® electrical system and model-specific ride experiences to Class 3 availability at participating locations. We will also share practical guidance for safer starts, smarter maintenance, battery care, and connected riding with the Pedego Ride app. The goal is simple: help riders understand what is new, choose the experience that fits, and get more confidence and fun from every mile.

Ready to find your ride? Explore Latch 2, Ridge Rider 2, and Element 2, then visit your local Pedego dealer for a fitting and test ride.

Estimated range based on a 165 lb rider on flat terrain under normal riding conditions. Actual range may vary. Specifications and availability are subject to change.
