Get Ready for Fall with Your Helmet, Lights, and Mirror
There is plenty to love about a fall ride, whether you are catching the afternoon light or taking the long way home in search of colorful foliage. A helmet you enjoy wearing, working lights, and a well-positioned mirror help you set out feeling prepared. Our Gen 2 bikes make the lighting part easy with a headlight, rear running lights, an active brake light, and turn signals built into the Element 2, Ridge Rider 2, and Latch 2.
Find a helmet that feels like you
A helmet should be something you reach for happily. The Thousand Heritage 2 collection brings an appealing choice of colors and a clean look, along with ventilation, simple magnetic closure, and a hidden PopLock that lets you secure the helmet with your bike. Browse the styles and size chart on pedego.com, or stop into a local Pedego dealer to try one on and explore the helmets they carry.
A comfortable fit makes every day helmet-wearing a hassle-free habit. Wear the helmet level, adjust the fit and straps so it stays in place, and fasten the buckle before every ride. Replace it after an impact or as its maker directs. Even a short trip deserves your favorite helmet.

Let the built-in lights do their part
Before rolling, switch on the headlight and rear running lights. Check the brake light and both turn signals and keep the lenses clean. Position bags and cargo so they leave the lights visible. These built-in functions help you see the route and communicate your intentions as light levels change.
Signal early, check behind you before changing position, and choose a pace that fits the conditions. Give yourself more room for braking in wet, high glare, and/or low light conditions. Lights and signals work best alongside attentive, predictable riding.
Enjoy a better view of what is around you
Our adjustable Handlebar Mirror comes in left and right-side versions. Set it for a useful view behind you with a quick glance while your hands stay on the controls. Paired with shoulder checks, a mirror adds visibility and awareness during the ride.

Make the check part of getting ready: fasten your helmet, test the lights and signals, and set your mirror. Then head out and enjoy the ride.
