Element 2: Big Fun. Any Terrain.

Element 2: Big Fun. Any Terrain.

Big fun does not need a big footprint. Element 2 packs an easy step-through frame, compact proportions, and fat-tire confidence into a ride designed to feel at home across changing terrain.

With 20" x 4.0" fat tires—a key Element 2 selling point—the bike has a personality all its own. It feels compact at a stop, planted on changing surfaces, and playful when the route turns from an errand into an afternoon ride.

Approachable from the first step

The step-through frame makes it easier to get on and off, while an upright riding position helps riders settle into a comfortable view of the road ahead. The current platform is designed for riders approximately 5 feet 1 inch to 6 feet 1 inch, but body proportions and preferences vary. A fitting at a Pedego dealer is the best way to confirm comfort and reach.

Element 2 supports up to 440 pounds of total payload, including the rider and cargo. That capacity is useful, but it is not a target. The most important number is the one that keeps the rider, accessories, and cargo safely within every applicable rating.

Why compact wheels and fat tires work together

Smaller-diameter wheels can feel responsive and easy to place, while 20" x 4.0" fat tires add volume and stability. The combination gives Element 2 a nimble-but-planted character that suits neighborhood streets, campground roads, sandy paths, boardwalk approaches, and appropriate light mixed surfaces.

Front suspension with 75mm of travel helps smooth bumps and uneven transitions. Tektro hydraulic disc brakes—with a 203mm front and 180mm rear rotor—provide controlled braking across a range of riding conditions.

Surface rules still matter. Tire width does not create permission to ride on closed trails, protected beaches, or pedestrian-only paths. Always check local access, yield to others, and adjust speed to visibility and traction.

Big-bike power in a compact format

Element 2 uses a 750W motor with up to 90Nm of torque. That can make starts, hills, headwinds, and cargo feel more manageable. Pedego’s selectable drive modes allow riders to tune the response, whether the goal is a relaxed cruise or more immediate assistance.

The removable 835Wh battery is listed for up to 81 miles of range under stated test conditions. Actual range depends on the rider, load, weather, terrain, speed, tire pressure, assist mode, and many other factors. Fat tires should be maintained at the pressure specified for the tire, bike, rider, and conditions; incorrect pressure can affect handling, comfort, efficiency, and range.

Practical details for everyday fun

The MIK HD rear rack is rated for up to 100 pounds and is designed for compatible bags, baskets, and accessories. It is mounted to the frame rather than integrated into it. Aluminum fenders help manage spray and debris. The lighting system includes a bright headlight plus integrated running lights, an active brake light, and turn signals.

A 3.5-inch color display places speed, battery level, assist mode, and ride data in clear view, with USB-C charging for compatible devices. Before every ride, confirm that the display, lights, throttle, pedal assist, and brakes behave normally.

Element 2 is currently offered in Warm Sand, Marsala, and Dark Shadow. The three colors move from warm and expressive to quietly understated, but each one frames the same compact, purposeful design.

Class 3 ready at participating locations

Element 2 operates as a Class 1 and Class 2 e-bike and is Class 3 ready. A Class 3 upgrade may be available only through participating Pedego locations, for eligible configurations, and where permitted by law. Class 3 access, helmet rules, and age requirements vary by jurisdiction and route. The throttle does not operate to Class 3 speed.

Check with your local Pedego dealer and the appropriate state or local authority before upgrading or riding. A dealer can also help you decide whether the bike’s current class is already the best fit for your routes.

Find the fit—and the feeling

Specifications explain the hardware. A test ride explains the personality. On Element 2, notice how easily you can step through, balance at a stop, look over your shoulder, and control the bike at low speed. Try the brakes, change assist settings, and imagine the cargo you would actually carry.

Element 2 is compact where it helps and capable where it counts. That is what makes a small bike feel ready for big plans.

Explore Element 2, choose your color, and visit a nearby Pedego dealer for a fitting and test ride.

Estimated range based on a 165 lb rider on flat terrain under normal riding conditions. Actual range may vary. Confirm current specifications, colors, availability, route access, and Class 3 eligibility before publication or purchase.
