IRVINE, Calif., March 5, 2015 — A new Pedego® Electric Bikes store is opening in Old Town La Quinta. The desert resort town — known for its historical sites and stately resort hotel —now presents a new kind of fun.

Bryan Newman and his bride, Michelle, fell in love with electric bicycles when they test rode some on the advice of a friend. Bryan, a professional golfer, saw the potential immediately. ”Pedego electric bikes are amazing,” he said. “I grew up in Coachella Valley, and on a Pedego I saw areas of historic La Quinta I had never seen before,” he added. As co-owners of the new Pedego La Quinta, they’re looking forward to sharing new adventures and biking activities with their community.
