Pedego Store in New Braunfels Partners With Connections to Help Local Community

NEW BRAUNFELS, Texas. (February 16, 2022) – Pedego Electric Bikes, an award-winning national electric bike company with over 200 stores globally, partners with Connections Individual and Family Services by donating an electric bike to be raffled off at Connections upcoming fundraising event.
Pedego New Braunfels, located at 231 Landa New Braunfels, Texas 78130, provides e-bikes for rental and purchase, as well as expert advice, parts and services, and professional assembly to suit all Pedego e-biking needs. The store offers multiple unique guided and self-guided bike tours focusing on a wide variety of scenery and activities. The donated e-bike, a Pedego Element, will be raffled off at Connections’ fundraising event in an effort to support the organization expanding its services.
“We at Pedego New Braunfels are very excited to support the efforts of Connections,” said Kristen Pokky, owner of Pedego New Braunfels. “Pedego is a community focused company, and I would like to personally thank John and Bonnie Pronsky for partnering with us to make this fundraising event possible. It means a lot that our store is able to assist this incredible organization founded in our own backyard.”
Connections Individual and Family Services is a 501 (c) 3 private, non-profit organization founded by a group of community leaders in 1981 to provide a safe and secure alternative for homeless, abused, or at-risk youth. Connections was founded in New Braunfels but has since expanded to offer services in 17 rural counties.Through comprehensive services, Connections offers a safety net for “at-risk” youth. Further, the agency collaborates extensively with schools, non-profit agencies, churches, government representatives, and other youth-serving resources to foster community efforts to empower youth, connect families, and build futures.
We are so thankful for the efforts of the men and women at Pedego New Braunfels,” said Elizabeth Veldboom, a representative of Connections. “This fundraising event is a chance for our organization to expand and help as many disenfranchised people as possible, and having a locally owned store offer assistance has been a real blessing to our team.”
For those interested in supporting Connections, their upcoming fundraising event will take place March 26th from 12pm-4pm at Pedego New Braunfels, 231 Landa New Braunfels, Texas 78130.
The event will have free food and drinks, live music, and free test rides on Pedego electric bikes.
