Pedego Gilbert Pulls Name in Raffle and Donates Proceeds to Charity

GILBERT, AZ – December 28, 2020
Pedego Gilbert held a raffle in honor of their grand opening event in November, which recently came to a close. Raffle tickets were sold for $20 each for the chance to win a Pedego Comfort Cruiser, and all the proceeds collected from the raffle were donated to three local Arizona food banks: Midwest Food Bank in Gilbert, Matthew’s Crossing in Chandler, and United Food Bank in Mesa.
On December 15, 2020 owner, Michael Curtin, pulled the winner of the Comfort Cruiser, Javier Zuluaga, with representatives from each of the food banks in attendance. From the raffle, Pedego Gilbert raised over $2,400 with each food bank receiving $820 each. Melissa Forrestor from United Food Bank explains, “With each dollar donated, we are able to provide 5 nutritious meals out of it, so this donation definitely means a lot!”
