Local Electric Bike Shop Hosts Group Bike Ride And Community Event, Inspires Connection And Outdoor Activity
TRAVERSE CITY, Mich. — May 25, 2021—As part of the nationwide “Hello Fun Tour,” Pedego Electric Bikes Traverse City is hosting a neighborhood Palooza event on Tuesday, June 15, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. The event will feature catered refreshments, live music, giveaways and more. In addition, Pedego Vice President of Marketing Cassidy Castleman will be in attendance to connect with local Pedego enthusiasts.
“We are thrilled to celebrate the Traverse City Pedego community with this Palooza event,” said Dan Marsh, co-owner of Pedego Traverse City. “Our neighborhood is filled with some of the most friendly, welcoming and caring people I’ve had the pleasure of interacting with, and they have made my experience with Pedego all the more memorable. As a charming lakeside town with an endless variety of attractions to explore, Traverse City represents a community already united by a love of the outdoors. My wife and I are honored to play a part in serving this community through our storefront and look forward to watching our Pedego family continue to grow.”
Pedego Traverse City owners Dan and Pam Marsh opened their doors in June 2020. Long before they decided to open their own store, Dan and Pam were Pedego Electric Bike owners themselves.
“We’ve been in the Pedego family for quite some time,” said Pam Marsh. “We absolutely love our Pedego Electric Bikes, but it’s the exceptional customer service and ‘Hello Fun’ company culture that confirmed we made a great decision in opening Pedego Traverse City. With plenty of opportunities for outdoor recreation here, including hunting, fishing, skiing, boating and exploring world class bike trails, we knew Traverse City was the perfect place to launch our own Pedego store.”
Before launching Pedego Traverse City, Dan Marsh was a professional chef for most of his adult life. “My wife and I own and operate a fine dining Asian restaurant in Traverse City called Red Ginger,” said Dan Marsh. “If we’ve learned anything from this restaurant, it’s that the experience is just as important as the product. We are deeply invested in providing meaningful experiences for our community, and we look forward to any opportunity to celebrate them.”
This event is one stop of many on Pedego’s 2021 Hello Fun Tour. With stops in more than 80 communities that are home to Pedego storefronts, the Hello Fun Tour will highlight more than 40 new store openings, adding to the brand’s footprint of over 160 locally-owned locations.
