Local Electric Bike Shop Hosts Group Bike Ride And Community Event, Inspires Connection And Outdoor Activity
PORTSMOUTH, N.H. — May 29, 2021—As part of its nationwide “Hello Fun Tour,” Pedego Electric Bikes Portsmouth is hosting a neighborhood Palooza event at its local storefront on Saturday, May 29, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. The outdoor event will feature refreshments, giveaways and more.
In addition, Pedego CEO Don DiCostanzo and Pedego Director of Business Development Cynthia Newcomb will be in attendance to connect with local Pedego enthusiasts.
“We are thrilled to be celebrating our Pedego community with this Palooza event,” said Marc Lundgren, co-owner of Pedego Portsmouth. “This is the perfect place to enjoy a Pedego. The Seacoast Region is one of the most beautiful places to explore, especially on a bike. We’re proud of the rich history and culture in Portsmouth, and are grateful we have the opportunity to provide our community with a fun way to experience their home.”
This event is one stop of many on Pedego’s 2021 Hello Fun Tour. With stops in more than 80 communities that are home to Pedego storefronts, the Hello Fun Tour will highlight more than 40 new store openings, adding to the brand’s footprint of over 160 locally-owned locations.
“I first fell in love with Pedego Electric Bikes when I experienced them in Hawaii,” said Joe Kelley, co-owner of Pedego Portsmouth. “After experiencing the exhilaration and adventure Pedego Electric Bikes brings to people, I knew I wanted to share that joy with our community. Marc and I realized Portsmouth and the East Coast didn’t have anything like it so we’re thrilled to offer the experience to locals here.”
Both business partners operated their own business ventures before opening Pedego Portsmouth. Kelley has owned several businesses including pizza shops, bars, restaurants and retail stores. Lundgren owned a clothing company and worked for several retailers in operational roles.
