Locally-Owned Electric Bike Shop Opens Doors to Community; Inspires Connection And Celebrates Outdoor Activity
PORTLAND, Maine—May 28, 2021—Pedego Electric Bikes, a leading electric bike brand, is now open in Portland, Maine. Local owners Glen and Tina Soucie will celebrate the occasion with a community-focused grand opening event on Friday, May 28, from 12-3 p.m.
“We’re excited to give our community the opportunity to enjoy Pedego Electric Bikes as much as we do,” said Glen Soucie, co-owner of Pedego Portland, Maine. “Portland is a popular tourist destination and filled with locals who love exploring the outdoors, making it the perfect place for Pedego Electric Bikes.”
The grand opening event will include a ribbon cutting ceremony, music from a local DJ and refreshments. Pedego CEO Don DiCostanzo and Pedego Director of Business Development Cynthia Newcomb will also be in attendance to connect with local Pedego enthusiasts.
Glen and Tina Soucie have always owned their own businesses, but nothing quite like Pedego Electric Bikes. “The brand is just so much fun, hence the Pedego slogan ‘Hello Fun,’ which compliments the spirit of Portland,” said Tina Soucie. “The local community has already shown great enthusiasm and excitement for the new store, which assures us this is the right home Pedego Portland.
