Locally-Owned Electric Bike Shop Hosts Community Event, Inspires Connection And Celebrates Outdoor Activity
BATON ROUGE, La.—March 24, 2021— Pedego Electric Bikes, a leading electric bike brand, is celebrating the Baton Rouge community with a special event at its local storefront at 711 Jefferson Hwy. Ste. 1C. Local store owner, Steve Harvin, invites the community to join the celebration at an all-day open house on Wednesday, March 24, starting at 10 a.m.
The open house will feature refreshments from neighboring coffee shop, Brew Ha-Ha!, and a visit from special guest Camille Manning Broome, President and CEO of the Center for Planning Excellence (CPEX). Broome, who helped Baton Rouge’s Mid City communities envision and advocate for the addition of bike lanes on Government Street, says she is looking forward to the additional accessibility that electric bikes will offer Baton Rouge residents. She will provide further remarks at the event.
“We are thrilled to be celebrating our Baton Rouge community with this open house event,” said Harvin. “Pedego has an unmatched people-first culture, and our bikes allow people to set out on new adventures outdoors and uniquely connect with one another.
