FOUNTAIN VALLEY, Calif., Nov. 19, 2019 — A new Pedego® Electric Bikes store is now open on the island of St. Kitts, offering electric bike tours of the Caribbean islands of St. Kitts and Nevis. Owned by Barry Breakwell, Pedego St. Kitts is located at the five-star Park Hyatt St. Kitts Christophe Harbour in Banana Bay, South East Peninsula, Parish of St. George, in the Federation of St. Kitts and Nevis.

Park Hyatt Peninsula Ride Tour — $70 per person for registered Park Hyatt Hotel guests
Departing from the Park Hyatt Hotel, riders enjoy an easygoing ride on the trails and roads of the beautiful Southeast Peninsula of St. Kitts. Stops include beaches, Christophe Harbour Marina shops and Salt Plage Bar and Grill. Riders often see wild Green Vervet monkeys on the trails and roadside during the tour. Ride duration is approximately 2 hours with stops.
St. Kitts Bike and Hike Tour — $85 per person
An exhilarating and active guided electric bike tour through the hills and villages above Basseterre on electric mountain bikes, riders enjoy some off-road mountain trails and the village of St. Peters on the way up to the historic Milliken Estate. A short hike to the Sofa Stone atop Monkey Hill delivers spectacular views of Basseterre, the airport, cruise port and the Southeast Peninsula with Nevis Peak in the background. Hike back down to Milliken Estate for a short stop and snack followed by an exciting downhill bike ride. Riders will see local livestock and often Green Vervet monkeys during the day’s excursion. Ride duration is approximately 3 hours with stops.
St. Kitts Bike and Beach Tour — $85 per person
Cruise St. Kitts’ Southeast Peninsula trails and roads on a guided electric bike tour and enjoy some beach time at the end of the ride. The tour begins at the Pedego St. Kitts Tour Shop at Banana Bay and includes a ride along Cockleshell Bay over to the Atlantic coastline at Turtle Beach. The journey continues along the island’s scenic roads with a short stop at secluded Major’s Bay, then on to the Marina Village Shops at Christophe Harbour. A stop at a lookout provides spectacular views of the town of Basseterre, followed by a nice long ride back to the shop. Riders often see wild Green Vervet monkeys on the trails and roadside during the tour. Return transportation can be delayed if visitors wish to have lunch at Spice Mill Restaurant or enjoy some beach time on Cockleshell Beach. Ride duration is approximately 3 hours with stops and return transportation.
Custom and personal tours are also available, including bike tours of Nevis.
