Local Electric Bike Shop Hosts Group Bike Ride And Community Event, Inspires Connection And Outdoor Activity
YARMOUTH, Mass. — May 30, 2021—As part of its nationwide “Hello Fun Tour,” Pedego Electric Bikes Yarmouth is hosting a community event at its local storefront featuring a group Pedego ride, a clam bake and music on Sunday, May 30, from 12-3 p.m.
Additionally, Pedego CEO Don DiCostanzo and Pedego Director of Business Development Cynthia Newcomb will be in attendance to interact with local Pedego enthusiasts.
Pedego Yarmouth is owned by Norman and Janet Banville and Christopher Cormier. In addition to opening Pedego Yarmouth, the three business partners own and operate two furniture stores and are planning to open two additional Pedego stores in Bourne and Lexington in the coming month.
“We first fell in love with Pedego Electric Bikes when we traveled to buy my wife Jan a Pedego bike and we ended up buying five bikes for our whole family,” said Norman Banville, co-owner of Pedego Yarmouth. “After that, it was a no-brainer when we decided to join the Pedego family in an official capacity and open our store in Yarmouth.”
This event is one stop of many on Pedego’s 2021 Hello Fun Tour. With stops in more than 80 communities that are home to Pedego storefronts, the Hello Fun Tour will highlight more than 40 new store openings, adding to the brand’s footprint of over 170 locally-owned locations.
“We decided to open our Pedego store in Yarmouth because we love this city,” said Jan Banville. “It’s such a beautiful place to live and work. There’s nothing quite like riding miles and miles of rail trails in the Cape Cod area, especially along the ocean. It’s so refreshing and we hope these bikes bring joy to our customers’ lives.”
