Pedego Emerald Isle

The new Pedego Emerald Isle electric bikes store is ready to share the joys of Pedego electric bikes.

“Pedego electric bikes support the environment by providing ‘exercise disguised as fun,’ because riders love to zoom around town while leaving their cars parked,” said Matthew McNear. “We invite riders to enjoy the dazzling coastal scenery while cruising comfortably on powerful Pedego electric bikes. Pedal or not, Pedego bikes flatten hills and make headwinds a breeze,” added Buck.

Prior to opening Pedego New Bern, Steve owned two software businesses for more than 30 years. Matthew is an actor in New York City, and Joe is a former Marine. They discovered Pedego while researching family businesses to start. They fell in love with the Pedego story and were impressed with both the company’s bikes and its marketing. After riding the bikes, they were convinced Pedego Electric Bikes would introduce a new level of fun — and a popular new pastime — to New Bern and now Emerald Isle.

Pedego Emerald Isle offers rentals, sales and service of Pedego electric bikes. Visitors to Bogue Banks Island enjoy riding the powerful bikes for miles while enjoying stops at picturesque destinations, including the beach, the Atlantic Beach Aquarium, Fort Macon Sate Park and The Lighthouse. Riders can conquer hills, headwinds and distances with the bike’s PedalAssist and twist-and-go throttle. Pedal or not, riders enjoy the scenery as they ride.

“On Pedego bikes, riders can zoom around this beautiful island while decreasing their carbon footprints,” said Pedego Electric Bikes CEO and co-founder Don DiCostanzo. “They can enjoy a relaxing cruise for miles with a huge smile the whole time.”
