FOUNTAIN VALLEY, Calif., June 1, 2016 — The new Pedego® Los Olivos electric bike store is bringing a fresh kind of fun to the Central California wine country with top-of-the-line Pedego electric bike models available for rent and self-guided tours. In the heart of Santa Ynez Valley, historic Los Olivos is considered a prime bike rental destination for its scenic paths rolling through a relaxing countryside setting. Pedego Los Olivos will celebrate its grand opening on Saturday, June 4, and the public is invited.
“Santa Ynez Valley is a rustic retreat with gorgeous scenery and rolling hills — a region that is best explored by electric bike,” said store manager Gary Emerson. “Los Olivos is well known for scenic bike paths that run along the small-town roads, and with Pedego’s pedal-or-not electric bikes, riders can comfortably ride longer, farther and faster while getting fresh-air and exercise.”
Located behind Main Street in historic Downtown on San Marcos Avenue, Pedego Los Olivos offers a choice of three self-guided tour routes right from the store, each providing excellent views and fresh-air fun, including the Dan Henry Bike Path on Alamo Pintato Road. Local destinations that are an easy ride away include Buellton and Solvang, offering pleasant dining and shopping experiences as part of the adventure.
The Grand Opening Celebration slated for June 4 offers the public an opportunity to test ride exciting Pedego models including the Interceptor beach cruiser and the ultra-accessible Boomerang, designed with an extra-low step-thru making it easy to hop on and ride. Both bikes boast 48 volts of zip to help riders go the distance and fly up hills with ease.
